Expectation vs Reality
I was not used to going out during Kadayawan for the most part. Born and raised in Davao, I seldom go to places where people crowd. I was used to staying home during this kind of holidays, and this time was no exception. I had a friend I knew from YABONG who is located within the Davao region but not in the city. He asks for me to join him to a free concert in Sta. Ana Wharf, I oblige. The weather then was not very compliant, heavy rain accompanied by strong winds put our plan to a stop. We ended up just roaming the streets of Roxas and nearby, looking for food after it subsided. The good thing tho was we were able to take shelter on Ateneo during the downpour, and we have talked a lot about our shared interests and planned another time to roam around.
