YABONG Mindanao Camp

It was a tremendous and amazing opportunity for me as a participant of the YABONG Mindanao Camp to be taught about the intricacies of project pitching and be able to apply the acquired knowledge to the YABONG Small Grants Competition, held last August 12, 2019 at Ateneo de Davao University.

In celebration of International Youth Day, YABONG 3-day camp was attended by chosen and qualified participants – aspiring young leaders, members of youth-led initiatives, advocates, and volunteers - from across Davao, Maguindanao-Cotabato, North Cotabato, and SOX (SOCCSKSARGEN).

We were hone to become project pitchers, leaders, and advocates to amplify the voice of Mindanao. The YABONG Mindanao Camp not only expose us to the intricacies of governance and network-making – it also open opportunities for us to help improve Mindanao, one advocacy at a time.
